Jennifer L. Miller
Jennifer L. Miller is an associate in our Corporate Department. She joined the firm in 2003. Ms. Miller works closely with the Real Estate Department on real estate joint ventures, tenancy in common agreements and real estate syndications, and with the Licensing and Entertainment division on licensing name brand trademarks. She represents private and public companies, including private equity funds, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, financing and other general corporate matters. Ms. Miller has represented companies in a variety of industries, including television broadcasting, real estate, manufacturing and hotels. Ms. Miller also advises clients with respect to corporate governance issues.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Miller is active in various Catholic charities, and she was President of the Parish Council and a Trustee of St. Francis de Sales Church from August 2002 to April 2004. She is currently a member of the St. Thomas More Society of Philadelphia.
Ms. Miller received her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1995, and received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1992, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She received the Phoebe Morrison Memorial Prize for Political Science at Barnard. Ms. Miller is currently studying for a M.A. in theology with the intent of ultimately receiving a degree in canon law.
