Karen Binder

Karen Binder is Of Counsel in the Land Use Department, bringing her expertise in New York City approval processes. Before joining the firm, Ms. Binder was General Counsel to the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals for seven years. She previously served as Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department, where she specialized in administrative law and litigation.
In October of 2010, Ms. Binder was a panelist at a continuing legal education (CLE) course entitled "2010 Trends in New York City Land Use and Real Estate Development," where she spoke about the New York City Department of Buildings' enforcement procedures, from a practitioner's point-of-view.
