The author of over 30 articles (including as a member of the board of editors) and a lawyer with over 20 years' focus primarily on significant commercial and office leases, Mark Morfopoulos is widely recognized as a "go-to" counsel for real estate professionals and his peers.  During his career, Mark has advised a distinguished list of clients, including UPS (where he was in-house counsel), the City of New York (representing all NYC agencies in their leasing transactions), Icon Parking, Loews Corporation, Burlington Coat Factory, Rite Aid and Boston Properties.  Mark currently represents some of the City's most prominent landlords in their lease negotiations.  Some of his most notable deals include representation, as landlord's counsel, for flagship leases to Bulgari, Zegna, Stuart Weitzman, Coach and Tag Heuer on Fifth Avenue's Plaza Hotel District.  

Known for his personable approach to negotiations, Mark uses creative yet unmatched strategies, serving as an advocate for landlords and for tenants with significant retail operations.  All parties count on his keen attention to detail and practical drafting.  They prize his capacity to drill down to the ‘heart' of the deal - the result of years' experience and firm dedication to best-in-class practices and strong results.
