Robert S. Marshall Jr.
Robert Marshall is an associate in our Real Estate Department. Mr. Marshall represents public and private companies, developers and high-net-worth individuals in the acquisition, disposition, construction, development and leasing of commercial, residential and mixed-use properties.
Mr. Marshall concentrates his practice in the area of commercial office, retail, restaurant and bar leasing and construction, as well as shopping center, hotel, office building, residential tower, sports complex and entertainment facility construction and development representing nationally known owners, tenants and contractors throughout the country. Clients regularly rely on his extensive legal and practical business experience to evaluate the complicated issues related to leasing transactions and construction projects, craft workable solutions, consummate such transactions and projects and advise on ongoing management, construction and development issues.
Prior to joining Wachtel & Masyr, LLP, Mr. Marshall was associated with a large Wall Street law firm, where he represented clients in a broad range of real estate matters. He also served in the United States Army Infantry and Military Police, where he was stationed abroad in Central America and Europe.
Mr. Marshall received his J.D. in 2003 from the Boston University School of Law, where he served as his Class Representative on the Student Bar Association and as President of the Corporate Law Society. He received his B.S., summa cum laude, in 1995 and his M.A. in 1997 from St. John's University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant to his professors in the Department of Government and Politics.
Mr. Marshall is a former Congressional Intern to the Honorable Susan Molinari, 13th Congressional District of the State of New York and a former Judicial Intern to the Honorable Charles A. Kuffner, Jr., Supreme Court of the State of New York.
Mr. Marshall has served on the Committee on Military Affairs and Justice of the New York City Bar Association and is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He is also a licensed and active real estate broker in the State of New York.
