Wachtel & Masyr represented Thor Equities, LLC, in the separate refinancing of the retail and hotel parcels of the complex known as the Palmer House Hotel, in the amounts of $43,400,000.00 and $307,700,000.00, respectively. The refinancing was preceded by the legal separation of the property into three separate parcels - hotel, retail and office. In both transactions, financing was provided by Anglo Irish Bank Corporation PLC. The matter was handled by Morris Missry, Eric Zipkowitz, Avram Posner, Thomas Martin, Mia Stevens-Haynes and Lee Weiss of the Firm's Real Estate Department.
