
Avram E. Posner
During his twenty-year career, Avram E. Posner has remained steadfastly focused on real estate law. His practice includes acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing across all real estate asset classes. Over the years, Avram has mentored numerous associates in Wachtel Missry’s Real Estate Department. Avram is regularly engaged on major transactions. Known for his incisive research and efficient resolution of highly complex issues, he has developed a reputation for his singular dedication to his clients and the results they seek. More recently, he has been heavily involved in a major student housing development portfolio, development rights transactions, as well as the acquisition and development of New York City commercial condominiums.
He was an Editor of the Columbia Law Review.

Acquisition and financing of a portfolio of ten student housing properties located in five different States.
Sale of a significant student housing property including an exchange component.
Acquisition of a major Note secured by a mortgage on New York City property.
Closing of a significant construction loan on behalf a major New York City developer.
Representation of very active New York City landlord in the leasing of retail condominium space.
Sale of New York City development rights to the developer of a large project, including the negotiation of the Zoning Lot Development Agreement.
