    Dov’s ability to think creatively, flexibly, and strategically allows him to add value by thinking, not only as a lawyer, but also as a business person.  Dov represents high profile clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of real estate in the US and abroad. He focuses his strengths on negotiating sophisticated and complex joint ventures and preferred equity investments on behalf of sponsors and investors alike. He regularly works closely with tax advisors to combine strategic tax planning with the most advantageous joint venture structure. Dov balances his penchant for strong negotiation with his pragmatic approach to ensure smooth closing of transactions.

    Representative Transactions

    Advised the principals of a publicly traded company in connection with their formation of a new platform, seeded by the acquisition of $2B in assets from the publicly traded company immediately prior its merger

    Negotiated and navigated the complex business deal between the purchaser of the retail portion of the Crown Building (730 Fifth Avenue) and the purchaser of the office portion at the same building, including the planning to convert the two portions of the building into two separate condominium units

    Advised a large developer in connection with its joint venture for the acquisition and development of 11 Greene St, in New York

    Negotiated a joint venture with a preferred equity investor in connection with the acquisition and re-development of two multifamily buildings in lower Manhattan

    Advised the purchaser of a $70M multifamily portfolio in Astoria from the Kushner Group

    Negotiated the partial sale, subsequent joint venture, and associated hotel services agreements with respect to the Rio Mar Bear Resort and Spa in Puerto Rico

    Handled the acquisition of a stake in Bush Terminal in Brooklyn, NY, and the joint venture between the buyer and the seller contemplating the sites massive re-development

    Negotiated the joint venture agreements relating to the purchase of several retail properties in France, London, Italy, and Spain, and worked closely with European counsel to provide a seamless international representation

    Advised a property owner in connection with its 1.6B recapitalization of 666 Fifth Avenue
