Nick Rubino
Nick Rubino has been practicing corporate law for over 30 years. He served as General Counsel of Liz Claiborne, where he worked for over 20 years on the Company’s many brand acquisitions and dispositions, including the acquisitions of Lucky Brand Jeans, Juicy Couture and Kate Spade, licensing transactions, both as licensee and licensor, and international distribution and joint venture arrangements. In addition to his role as General Counsel, Nick also managed executive compensation and benefits, customs and trade, security and loss prevention, and compliance, which has provided him a broader perspective on business operations. Nick also has deep experience in matters of corporate governance, serving as Secretary to the Board for twelve years. Prior to joining Liz Claiborne, Nick was a corporate attorney at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel where he worked on a diverse range of transactions for clients in various industries, including initial public offerings, financings, joint venture and partnerships.
Nick’s experience provides a unique and extremely valuable resource to our clients, particularly our consumer product and retail clients, particularly in the areas of licensing and distribution, manufacturing, retail operations, and general corporate and commercial matters.
